Homeowner Health
Nonprofit Agency: 501(c)3 – 31 Years Serving Vulnerable Homeowners in Atlanta Metro
Area.
Cost Effective Service Model: We partner with local communities, neighborhoods,
community leaders, corporations, churches, and volunteers to make critical home repairs
designed to help our vulnerable neighbors stay in their homes.
No Cost: Home Repairs for Neighbors in Need

About Rebuilding Together Atlanta
• Best Practices: Holistic and person-centered approach to home repairs and
community revitalization. We partner with the homeowner and/or community to
develop a plan.
• Researched Based: RTA Home Repairs are based on the 8 principles of Healthy
Homes developed by the National Center for Healthy Housing and endorsed by
HUD. Those 8 Keep it dry, Clean, Pest-free, Safe, Contaminant free, Well
ventilated, Maintained and Thermally Controlled.
• 25 Point Home Health and Safety Checklist: Identify significant health and safety
hazards with homes, prioritize repairs, provide a holistic, comprehensive, and
detailed scope of work and focus home repairs on results.
• Health and Housing Repair Relationship: CDC reports that home repair is a cost-
effective form of health care. RTA’s home repairs are focused on the connection
between health and housing while preserving the existing affordable housing
landscape.
• Trusting Relationship: RTA builds a trusting relationship with homeowners in need
as well as community leaders.

2024 Program Impact
• In 2024, RTA partnered with organizations, businesses, and corporations to
complete more than 85 home and community projects
