FY 2025 Schedule of Fees & Charges 
Summary of Proposed Changes 
Staff proposes the FY 2025 Schedule of Fees & Charges with the following changes from the FY 2024 
Schedule.  All proposed changes are summarized below by department and can be found in each 
department’s respective section of the proposed FY 2025 Schedule of Fees & Charges. 
Environmental Services  
The department is proposing to change annual lease fees for community garden plots. These changes 
are due to increasing costs of materials like gravel, tools, and soil and will allow the department to cover 
the cost of the plots and manage annual upkeep. The changes include increasing 4’x6’ plots from $35 
($50 for nonresidents) to $50 ($60 for nonresidents), 4’x8’ plots from $45 ($60 for nonresidents) to $65 
($75 for nonresidents), 4’x12’ plots from $70 ($85 for nonresidents) to $100 ($110 for nonresidents), 
and 12’x12’ plots from $195 ($205 for nonresidents) to $250 ($265 for nonresidents).  
Finance 
The Finance Department is proposing to increase the residential street light fee from $42/year to 
$50/year and the commercial street light fee from $84/year to $100/year.   
Library 
The Library is proposing to increase fees for black and white printouts and photocopies from $0.15/page 
to $0.25/page to recover costs from printing.   
Sanitation 
Public Works is proposing increases for both roll-out and in-ground cans. This would increase residential 
fees for both from $22.75/month to $27.75/month and commercial fees for roll-out cans from 
$25.75/month to $30.75/month. There are no commercial in-ground cans. Fees for additional roll-out 
cans would also increase from $12/month per extra can to $15/month. 
The department is proposing to increase city recycling fees from $3.83/month to $8.83/month. 
Parks 
The department is proposing to change the fee for renting the Brawner Hall reception room with kitchen 
from $400 ($450 for nonresidents) to $525 ($575 for nonresidents). This will bring the fee in line with a 
similar rental of the Magnolia Room.  
The department is also increasing table rental fees. Summer Concert Series (per table) fess will increase 
from $60-$120 ($75-$150 for nonresidents) to $100-$200 ($150-$250 for nonresidents). Birthday 
Celebration (per table) fees will increase from $120-$300 ($175-$400 for nonresidents) to $175-$400 
($200-$500 for nonresidents). Finally, a concert table bundle rental will increase from $200-$400 ($300-
$500 for nonresidents) to $300-$500 ($400-$600 for nonresidents).
