Water/Sewer CIP 
Drainage Improvements Water Distribution $276,000 
This annually recurring project funds miscellaneous drainage improvements. These include routine 
repairs and maintenance as well as curbs and gutters, sidewalks and catch basins, and other 
drainage structures.  
 
Lead and Copper Inventory Water Distribution $500,000 
This is an EPA mandated project to provide safe water by ensuring the quality of lead and copper. It 
is a multi-year project that will be completed in 3 phases: testing, inventory and information to the 
public, and replacement.  
 
Water Meters and Dials Water Distribution $387,000 
This is a multi-year project to replace approximately ten thousand 5/8” water meters and dials in 
use across the City. The new assemblies have a 15-year life expectancy.  
 
Infrastructure Improvements Water Distribution $3,014,000 
This annually recurring project funds miscellaneous infrastructure improvements. These include 
routine repairs and maintenance as well as upgrades to the City’s water and sewer mains, services, 
sewer lift stations, manholes, and valves. 
 
Submersible Pump Water Distribution $58,000 
This new equipment will provide a replacement if the primary pump at the pump station fails. A 
backup is needed.  
 
Hydro Excavation Unit Water Distribution $127,000 
The new hydro excavation unit will assist in repairing water main breaks, spotting utilities before 
water mains and service line repairs are made. Additionally, this will reduce crew time in trenches 
and improve safety. 
 
Assessment Management Software Water Distribution $216,000 
This new project will allow staff to keep up with ongoing maintenance schedules, costs of projects, 
and work orders. It will assist the whole City in improving asset tracking.  
Total FY 2025 Recommended Funding for Water/Sewer CIP  $4,578,000 
 
 
Storm Water CIP 
Storm Water Projects Storm Water $1,522,000 
This annually recurring project funds miscellaneous storm water infrastructure improvements. 
These include routine repairs and maintenance as well as upgrades to storm water piping and 
structures.  
 
Total FY 2025 Recommended Funding for Storm Water CIP  $1,522,000
