Citywide ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: This amendment incorporates standard requirements for processing applications for film production permits and appeals for application denials, as well as the procedure required for suspension and revocation of Film Production permits. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends approval of ORD2026-005 for a Code Amendment to Chapter 22 - Businesses, Article IX, of the Smyrna Code of Ordinances, Film Industry, Section 22-323 regarding the requirements for processing applications for film production permits and Section 22-328 regarding appeals of application denials and suspension and revocation of film production permits, and other provisions and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.
