2. Call to Order
Mayor Derek Norton called to order the January 21, 2025 Pre-Council Meeting held at A. Max
Bacon City Hall in the Administration Conference Room at 6:30 PM.

PRE2025-004 Review of the January 21, 2025 Mayor and Council Meeting Notice and
Agenda
Mayor Norton reviewed the January 21, 2025 Mayor and Council agenda. There was no
discussion.
6. Other Business / Staff Comment
Mayor Norton announced that there will be a citywide town hall meeting on February 13, 2025. At
6:00 PM, the public hearing for the state homestead legislation will be heard. At 6:30 PM, the
Town Hall will begin, then it will be followed by the Committee of the Whole meeting.
