Citywide ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: Over the past several years, Cobb County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds invested in the city have paid for numerous public improvements; and the City of Smyrna continues being a subrecipient of the CDBG program. Effective January 1, 2025, the Program Year 2024 Subrecipient Agreement is amended to reflect the changes as noted. All other language, requirements and provisions of the original Subrecipient Agreement shall remain unchanged and in full force. The termination date for the agreement, as amended, shall be extended to June 30, 2025. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Approval of Amendment No.2 to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) PY24 Subrecipient Agreement No: CD24-C24SA/S8 to extend the termination date for the agreement to June 30, 2025 and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.
