The parcel segment to be deeded (McGriff Street) is a portion of an old road never constructed and previously abandoned but is shown on the recorded subdivision plat and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all documents. Ward 3 Councilmember – Travis Lindley ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: This is a request based on a citizen request that has a segment of land behind their property located at 2641 Brown Circle SE. The homeowner has requested the City of Smyrna deed ownership of that segment to the individual owner since the city has no use or plans of utilization for the old road segment. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: It is the recommendation of Public Works Authorize and approve a Quit-Claim Deed conveying a segment of land that parallels the rear of the property of 2641 Brown Circle SE.
