Mr. Stepanovs stated that he is still in agreement with moving the shed. The previous shed was closer to the driveway, but he is willing to do whatever needs to be done to comply. Chairperson Garland stated that because he is willing to move the shed, this item can be withdrawn and the other variance request can be acted upon. Board Member Eric Randall made a motion to withdraw item V25-104; seconded by Board Member Andrea Worthy. A public hearing was called, and no one came forward in favor of or in opposition to this item. V25-106 Public Hearing - Variance Request - V25-106 - Reduce the front setback from 35 feet to 18.8 feet - Land Lot 560 - 2812 Walker Court - Ronald Waddell Ward 3 Councilmember - Travis Lindley Caitlin Crowe, Land Development Services Coordinator, provided the following background for V25-106 and V25-107: The subject parcel is a 0.26-acre lot located on the west side of Walker Court. The subject parcel and adjacent parcels to the north, east, west, and south are zoned R-15 whereas one of the parcels to the south is zoned RDA; all are occupied by single-family detached residences. The subject property is currently occupied by a one-story 1,906 square foot home and 166 square foot shed in the far rear of the property. The applicant is proposing a renovation to the existing home by expanding and enclosing the existing carport to make a 2-car garage and adding a front porch along the full length of the home.
