Privilege License and Show Cause Hearing 9. Formal Business A. ORD2026-004 ORD2026-004 for a Code Amendment to Chapter 22 - Businesses, Article VIII, of the Smyrna Code of Ordinances, Mobile Food Vendors, Section 22-300 regarding the requirements for processing applications for Mobile Food Vendors licenses and appeals for application denials and Section 22-303 regarding suspension and revocation of Mobile Food Vendors licenses and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents. Citywide Kristin Robinson, Deputy City Administrator, provided the following background: This amendment incorporates standard requirements for processing applications for Mobile Food Vendors licenses and appeals for application denials, as well as the procedure required for suspension and revocation of Mobile Food Vendors licenses. Mayor Pro Tem / Councilmember Tim Gould made a motion to approve item ORD20206-004; seconded by Councilmember Travis Lindley. The motion to approve carried with the following vote: Aye: 7 – Councilmember Pickens, Councilmember Hines (virtual), Councilmember Lindley, Councilmember Welch, Councilmember Wilkinson, Mayor Pro Tem / Councilmember Gould, Councilmember Oglesby Nay: 0 – None Recuse: 0 – None B. ATH2026-055 Authorization and certification of the Estimated Rollback Rate to establish 8.99 mills as the millage rate to be provided to the Cobb County Tax Assessors Office and the Cobb County Tax Commissioners Office for the 2026 assessment notices. Citywide Councilmember Travis Lindley made a motion to approve item ATH2026-055; seconded by Councilmember Charles Welch.
