The City has now attained that certification, and will start administering the project directly with the commencement of the Preliminary Design Phase of the GDOT Plan Development Process. This agreement is to complete the tasks that have not been started under the Cobb County DOT oversight phase. The funds are part of the 2022 SPLOST project list. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends approval of the proposed agreement with Croy Engineering (200 Cobb Parkway North, Building 400, Suite 413, Marietta, Ga. 30062) for professional services to complete the PE (Project Engineering) phase of the South Cobb Drive Improvements project in the amount of $2,594,980, and authorize the Mayor to execute all documents.
