2. Call to Order
Mayor Derek Norton called to order the June 12, 2025 Committee of the Whole meeting held at
A. Max Bacon City Hall in the HR Training Room at 6:00 PM.
3. Staff M&C Agenda Items to Review
A. COW2025-065 Project Updates from Staff
Carson Haynie, Special Projects Manager, provided information regarding CON2025-
004 (Rebuilding Together Atlanta) and CON2025-006 (Designing Local contract
extension, ATH2025-105 (“Race to See 5K” road closures and permit), AGR2025-026
and AGR2025-028 (CDBG Amendments No. 3 and No. 4).
Jennifer Bennett, Community Relations Director, provided information regarding 2025-
227 (Radio Partner/activities).
Mike Jones, City Administrator, discussed updating the Mayor and Council alternating
between staff updates and project updates. He asked that council express which
projects and departments he wants updates on specifically so further detail can be
provided, though a spreadsheet with all projects and staff updates will be available.
