2. Call to Order
Mayor Derek Norton called to order the January 3, 2023 Special Called Meeting of the Mayor and
Council held at A Max Bacon City Hall in Council Chambers at 6:01 PM.
Mayor Norton recognized former Councilmember Kathy Young for her service the past six months to
fulfill the vacated term for Ward 7. A glass-blown jonquil was presented to her.
