Citywide ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: This amendment incorporates standard requirements for processing applications for Tattoo Establishments licenses and appeals for application denials, as well as the procedure required for suspension and revocation of Tattoo Establishments licenses. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends approval of ORD2026-002 for a Code Amendment to Chapter 22 - Businesses, Article VI, of the Smyrna Code of Ordinances, Tattoo Establishments, Section 22-242 regarding the requirements for processing applications for Tattoo Establishments licenses and appeals for application denials and Section 22-244 regarding suspension and revocation of Tattoo Establishments licenses and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.
