Spring St. from King Street up to the fountain from 2:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025 Ward 3 Councilmember - Travis Lindley ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: Requested street closings are to ensure a safe environment for this Smyrna Parks and Recreation family event. We will have candy give away spots set up along Market Village with the help of Market Village business. We will also be showing a movie in Village Green Park. This is an annual event put on by the Smyrna Parks and Recreation Department. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends approval for the closing of the following streets for the Smyrna Parks and Recreation’s Spooky Fest: King Street from Stephens to Bank (note King is already closed from Bank to Powder Springs St) and W. Spring St. from King Street up to the fountain from 2:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025
