May 04, 2026 6:30 PM City of Smyrna Mayor and Council Meeting 2800 King Street SE Council Chambers Page 2 of 2 Mableton about the “City of Mableton” signs being placed in Smyrna rights-of-way. He asked Mableton’s Mayor not to place signs in areas that are confusing for residents and where the surrounding areas are not 100% Mableton. Councilmember Wilkinson mentioned that a resident who homeschools her children was looking for resources and wanted to ask that homeschooled children be included in the Mayor’s Education Awards. Councilmember Hines said that she has been in communication with Congresswoman Lucy McBath’s office, and they mentioned they are still available to help with S. Cobb Drive. 4.
