VISITORS Library: 3363 Museum: 12 READY, SET, PLAY! At this month’s Ready, Set, Play on December 3, little gamers leveled up by playing with new friends in games like Jenga and Build or Boom. Participants were patient and positive with each other enjoying the event during each turn! SHOP WITH A HERO The Smyrna Library Youth Services Department contributed 88 books to this year’s Shop with a Hero event. Throughout the year, library staff collect gently used books in excellent condition to share with children participating in the program. D E C E M B E R 8 - D E C E M B E R 1 2 P A G E 0 7 LIBRARY AND MUSEUM KIDS POP-UP CRAFT EVENT Join the Smyrna History Museum for a kids pop-up craft event on December 13 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Kids ages 3+ will enjoy making a free craft while learning about various holidays from many cultures that are celebrated during the winter! SMYRNA SOCIAL CLUB Current board members of the Smyrna Social Club recently donated nine historic scrapbooks to the Smyrna Museum collection. Founded on November 8, 1908, by twenty one Smyrna women, the club first met at the Gilbert family home, pictured here.
