LIBRARY AND MUSEUM
On Monday, December 1, Smyrna Library welcomed Mr. Niko and his friends from the North
Pole for a joyful performance of Fa-La-La-La Follies. The sparkling holiday puppet show delighted
an enthusiastic audience of 74 participants with music, humor, and plenty of high jinks.
HOLIDAY PUPPET SHOW
To celebrate National Cookie Day on December 4, families stopped by to create mouse
headband crafts inspired by Laura Numeroff’s beloved book, If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. And
of course, cookies were on hand which made the afternoon crafty, tasty, and full of smiling,
crumb-covered kiddos.
NATIONAL COOKIE DAY
Smyrna Library adults enjoyed a relaxing
morning on Friday, December 5, creating
holiday ornaments from used wine and
champagne corks. These adorable
decorations were made using simple items
commonly found at home, such as ribbon,
felt, pins, and buttons which was a fun and
creative way to upcycle leftover craft supplies.
