1. Roll Call

2. Call to Order
Chairperson Rickey N. Oglesby, Jr. called to order the September 19, 2025 Smyrna Public Art
Committee held at A. Max Bacon City Hall in the HR Training Room at 11:37 AM.
3. Chairperson Instruction and Comment
Chairperson Oglesby welcomed everyone and mentioned the beautiful weather in Smyrna lately.
Chairperson Oglesby said the public art projects are looking good, such as the crosswalk murals,
even after several months from their installation. Chairperson Oglesby said the committee has
much to iron out today.
4. Formal Business
A. 2025-321 Brief Update on Brick Pavers in Smyrna Market Village
Evie Ramsey, Administrative Services Coordinator, informed the committee that City
Administrator Mike Jones said this project will be handed over to the Public Works
Department as the location is not ideal for public art. Chairperson Oglesby agreed and
said he is relieved to hear this update.
B. 2025-323 Brief Update on Public Art Master Plan
Anna Talarico said hello and introduced her colleague, Andrew Eble, to the committee.
Anna Talarico mentioned that Andrew Eble will be visiting Smyrna next month to
participate in community engagement for the Public Art Master Plan during the Crafts and
