This strategic plan is designed to ensure that the department is well-prepared to manage emergencies, improve response times, and deliver high-quality services to residents. The plan is essential for defining the department's goals, priorities, and initiatives over the next five years, addressing critical areas such as resource allocation, emergency response enhancements, community engagement, and professional development for firefighters. The presentation will provide a platform for the Mayor and Council to review and discuss the plan, ask questions, and offer feedback. This step is vital to the ongoing quality improvement process, ensuring that the Fire Department maintains its high standards in serving residents, business owners, and visitors to our city.
