volunteers served 421 cars and diverted 17,640 pounds of material from the landfill during last weekend’s Document Shredding event at the Wolfe Adult Recreation Center. This event provided a valuable service to the community while helping conserve resources and reduce landfill waste. DOCUMENT SHREDDING RECAP This week, Keep Smyrna Beautiful volunteers weeded and tidied the Pollinator Pocket garden at the Smyrna Recycling Center. While stems were trimmed to prepare for spring, they were set aside to help protect insects that may still be nesting.
