The applicant must be prepared to accommodate adjustments from Smyrna Police Department both in advance and on the race day. (see attached route) EMS will be present at the start/finish line of the race provided by the Smyrna Fire Department The applicant is responsible for putting out their own cones and road barricades for the event RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Given that the applicant follows all requirements as mentioned above, the staff recommends approval of the Special Event Permit for the ‘Be the One: Legion Run 5K’ on Saturday, May 23, 2026, to include associated road closures.
