Chairperson Joel Powell called to order the June 9, 2025 Planning and Zoning Commission
meeting held at A. Max Bacon City Hall in Council Chambers at 6:01 PM.

A. Z25-006 Public Hearing - Zoning Request - Z25-006 - Allow rezoning from R-20 to R-8
Conditional for the development of three single family homes at a density of 4.28 units per acre
- 0.70 acres - Land Lot 664 - 2583 Davenport Street - Signature Homes of Georgia
Ward 2 Councilmember - Latonia P. Hines
Joey Staubes, Planner II, provided the following background:
The request is to rezone one R-20 parcel to three R-8-Conditional single-family parcels.
The request is to be heard by Mayor and Council on July 21, 2025. The future land use
map will not change. The homes will be front-entry with three homes facing Davenport
Street.
Staff is recommending approval with the following conditions:
