This year, we’ve added a friendly attendance competition among all four shifts to encourage participation, consistency, and teamwork. Congratulations to our January winner, D-David Shift! JANUARY WINNER OF BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU COMP Our Smyrna 911 Communications Officers recently attended a live fire training hosted by the Smyrna Fire Department. This hands-on experience provided dispatchers with a valuable opportunity to practice managing radio traffic with firefighters during active scenarios. It also allows them to see firsthand what they typically cannot see or hear from behind the phones, while they work diligently to gather critical information and relay it accurately to crews operating on a live fire scene.
