Library: 4,467 Museum: 17 In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, the Smyrna Library and the Smyrna Museum present a special exhibit of political memorabilia on loan from the personal collection of Councilman Travis Lindley. Equal parts informative, whimsical, and engaging, the display is curated by Jennie Eldredge. The exhibit is viewable in the library’s upstairs display cases through June 2026. We thank Councilman Lindley for his generous support of this project. POLITICAL MEMORABILIA EXHIBIT M A Y 4 - M A Y 8 P A G E 0 6 LIBRARY AND MUSEUM Smyrna Library is excited to introduce Playaway Launchpads; educational tablets preloaded with games, apps, and videos focused on specific subjects. Launchpads are available for in-library checkout at the Youth Services desk with a Smyrna Library card. Funded by a generous grant from the Friends of Smyrna Library, our first two devices support “The Year of Math”: Math Mania (K–2nd grade) Math Fix (3rd–5th grade) LAUNCHPADS On April 28, library tweens played "Games That Won't Sit Still!" These young readers were up and moving with games like Hand Slap, Mirror, What Are You Doing?, and Toss the Stuffie.
