Akins Ford- Dodge has the described vehicles available to purchase, leaving the only lead time on the vehicles being the time required for outfitting by Dana Safety Supply. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Police Department recommends the authorization to purchase four (4) Dodge Durango Pursuit All- Wheel Drive SUVs in the amount of $45,509 per vehicle totaling $182,036 from Akins Ford-Dodge (220 West May Street, Winder, GA 30680) under the Georgia Statewide Contract to be funded by the Emergency Vehicle Replacement Fund, with vehicle outfitting by Dana Safety Supply (1098 King Industrial Drive, Marietta, GA 30062) to be funded by the Asset Forfeiture Fund at an additional $22,238.40 per vehicle totaling $88,953.60, and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.
