Ward 7 Councilmember - Rickey Oglesby, Jr. ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: The City entered into that certain Intergovernmental Agreement for the Use and Lease of Facilities, pursuant to which CCSD leases to the City, and the City leases from CCSD, a portion of CCSD’s land located at 4885 Argo Road, Smyrna, Cobb County, Georgia 30082 and commonly known as the Argo Road Park property, as more particularly described in the Agreement, for public recreation purposes. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends the approval of the Intergovernmental Agreement with Cobb County Board of Education for the use and lease of facilities located at 4885 Argo Road, Smyrna, Ga. for public recreation purposes and authorize the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem to sign and execute all related documents.
