Oglesby Jr. stated that he is so humbled and proud of Smyrna coming together to support local artists and promote art. Councilmember Rickey N. Oglesby Jr. made a motion to approve item ATH2026-051; seconded by Councilmember Latonia P. Hines. The motion to approve carried with the following vote: Aye: 6 – Councilmember Pickens, Councilmember Hines, Councilmember Lindley, Councilmember Welch, Councilmember Wilkinson, Councilmember Oglesby Nay: 0 – None Absent: 1 – Mayor Pro Tem / Councilmember Gould C. ATH2026-069 Authorization to approve acquiring a 20’ Sanitary Sewer Easement and a 15’ Drainage Easement from the Saunders residence located at 1216 Bank Street for the City of Smyrna to be able to access and maintain its sanitary sewer and storm drainage infrastructure that crosses this property in multiple locations and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all documents. Ward 3 Councilmember - Travis Lindley Councilmember Travis Lindley made a motion to approve item ATH2026-069; seconded by Councilmember Charles Welch. The motion to approve carried with the following vote: Aye: 6 – Councilmember Pickens, Councilmember Hines, Councilmember Lindley, Councilmember Welch, Councilmember Wilkinson, Councilmember Oglesby Nay: 0 – None Absent: 1 – Mayor Pro Tem / Councilmember Gould D. ATH2026-063 Authorization to update and amend the fee schedule for sanitation and water administration fees effective June 2, 2026. Citywide Kristin Robinson, Deputy City Administrator / CFO, provided the following background: The fees for Water Administration need to be revised to establish fees for the new meters the City is implementing and to add/ revise existing fees for price changes and add items previously omitted from the schedule. In addition, new fees were established with an ordinance change related to yard waste requiring the sanitation fee schedule to be updated as well. These will be effective June 2, 2026 and will be updated in the adopted budget book for FY 2027. Public WOrks and Finance recommend approval. Councilmember Charles Welch made a motion to approve item ATH2026-063; seconded by Councilmember Travis Lindley. The motion to approve carried with the following vote:
