2. Call to Order
Mayor Derek Norton called to order the April 20, 2026 Pre-Council Meeting held at A. Max Bacon
City Hall in the Admin Conference Room at 6:30 PM.
3. Review of Current M&C Agenda
PRE2026-012 Review of the April 20, 2026 Mayor and Council Meeting Notice and Agenda
Mayor Norton reviewed the April 20, 2026 Mayor and Council agenda.
Z26-006: Joey Staubes, Planner II, provided the following background:
The applicant is requesting a rezoning from GC to MU-Conditional for 1715 Roswell Street
to build a mixed-use development of a three-story building with 3 multi-family units above
1,680 sq. ft. of office space. The multi-family units will have garage units at the rear of the
building and parking for the office units are located in front of the building. A total of 7
parking spaces are provided for the (2) office units and a two-car garage is provided for
each multi-family unit. Community Development recommends approval of the rezoning
from GC to MU-Conditional on 0.28 acres for a three-story building with three multi-family
units and 1,680 sq. ft. of office space, with conditions. It was approved 6-0 by the Planning
and Zoning Commission.
