Additionally, any plans to expand into the Market Village toward City Hall must wait until the Jonquil City Jog awards ceremony concludes and all event materials are removed from King Street/Market Village area in front of City Hall. This will require meticulous planning on the part of the Crawfish Boil event management team. The organizer would like to begin loading in the afternoon of Friday, May 2, and is confirming all event/festival items to be placed out of the roadway by midnight on May 4, with removal on Monday, May 5. Location: Smyrna Market Village 1265 W Spring St, Smyrna, GA 30080 – with main activities in the traffic Circle at Atlanta Road/Fountain area until approx. 11:00 am on Saturday, May 3 – expanding into the Market Village (down to the Spectrum store) on Saturday and following the requested setup plan for Sunday, May 4. Contacts: Bettie Cagle, Redbird Events, 404-754-3211 Kevin Drawe, Atkins Park, 404-272- 7454 Event as Described by Organizer: The event will be a two-day, outdoor New Orleans style - Crawfish and music-centered event. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Street Closures: Street closings include Market Village from S. Atlanta Rd to the end of the top traffic circle at the edge of the fountain area from 7:00 am until after the close and breakdown of the Jonquil City Jog around 10:00 /11:00 am on Saturday. Once the Jonquil City Jog has concluded, expansion of event space may move into the Market Village, but not prior. On Sunday, May 4, setup may begin at 7:00 am and include the Market Village from S. Atlanta Road toward City Hall as seen on the event map. The Smyrna Market will also be on May 4, and staff has agreed to work with Atkins on event space. At least one cross way must remain open at all times to allow traffic to move between both parking area sides of the Market Village. The traffic circle will be open after the last band has finished after event close and cleanup on Sunday, May 4. Street Sales: Food & Alcohol (60% Food / 40% Alcohol) Food: New Orleans Style Crawfish, Jambalaya, Boiled Shrimp, Veggies Alcohol/Sales & Controls: Wine and Beer – Plastic cups for all (no cans/bottles), all alcohol sales will take place within the festival gates, organizer stated that everyone gets carded with every purchase of alcohol by bartenders and servers, Atkins Park will acquire proper permits from the State of Georgia. Signage: A temporary sign permit application (for one sign) will be submitted upon event
