Mayor Derek Norton called to order the February 16, 2026 Mayor and Council Meeting held at
A. Max Bacon City Hall in Council Chambers at 7:02 PM.

5. Mayoral Report
Mayor Derek Norton noted that Smyrna just held their Daddy Daughter Dance which had a
huge crowd. He also announced that Smyrna Little League will be starting soon, and the
Little League parade will take place early March. And he mentioned that a public meeting
for the 2028 SPLOST will be held on February 25, and it will be voted on this November.
The list will be made public soon.
