Chairperson Joel Powell called to order the July 13, 2026 Planning and Zoning Commission
meeting held at A. Max Bacon City Hall in Council Chambers at 7:00 PM.

A. Z26-004 Public Hearing - Zoning Request - Z26-004 - Allow rezoning from GC to TD-
Conditional for the development of six single-family attached dwelling units at a density of 5.71
units per acre - 1.05 acres - Land Lot 606 - 4691 Camp Highland Road - Melissa Murillo
Ward 7 Councilmember - Rickey N. Oglesby Jr.
Commission Member Walter Kolis made a motion to approve item Z26-004; seconded by
Commission Member Keith Bentley.
The motion to approve carried with the following vote:
Aye: 3 – Commission Member Bentley, Commission Member Rice, Commission
Member Kolis
Nay: 1 – Commission Member Gordon-Evans
Absent: 2 – Commission Member Howard, Commission Member Carter
