Ward 3 Councilmember - Travis Lindley ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: This is a request based on a citizen request that has a segment of land behind their property located at 1565 Roswell Street SE. The property owner has requested the City of Smyrna deed ownership of that segment to the individual owner since the city has no use or plans of utilization for the old alley way segment. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Authorization to approve City of Smyrna to Quit Claim Deed a segment of land that parallels the rear of the property of 1565 Roswell Street SE. The parcel segment to be deeded is that of an old alley way based on the recorded subdivision plat and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all documents.
