Citywide ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: Every year, the City of Smyrna signs a Subrecipient Agreement with Cobb County administered through the CDBG Program Office. This agreement authorizes Cobb County to continue the administration of funds and reporting to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on behalf of the City. This authorization is for CD25-C25SA-A and CD25-C25S8-F. This amount is subject to change/increase should HUD release more funds to Cobb County. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends the authorization of the City of Smyrna to continue as a Subrecipient of the Cobb County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program PY2025, to receive the grant amount of $188,089.60 for Public Facility Projects and Administration and Planning, authorize the Mayor to sign and execute the 2025 Subrecipient Agreement Documents.
