WATER DEBT SERVICE 
Function 
This division was established as the Debt Service funding mechanism for the Water and Sewer Fund. This 
fund’s purpose was to accumulate financial resources to pay the interest on and redeem those revenue 
bonds that have been issued for improvements to the Water and Sewer system. The City continues to 
remain debt free for the maintenance, expansion and operation of the Water System.
