Playgrounds: Repairs and Maintenance Parks Maint $200,000
This project will serve as a fund to cover various repairs and maintenance across all parks in the
City. This will give the department the ability to address aging playgrounds and provide funds to
stay in compliance with a preventative replacement schedule.
Sports Field Improvements Parks Maint $30,000
Parks and Recreation completed a fencing, netting, and windscreen audit to determine needs across
all parks. This project will replace several stretches of fencing, netting, and windscreens in
immediate need of repair and help provide for future replacements.
Parks Maintenance Equipment Parks Maint $26,000
Updated equipment is needed to adequately manage fields across Smyrna parks. FY26 funds are
planned to purchase a new seeder, which will spread seeds evenly across turf.

Fire Training Ground Improvements Fire $30,000
This project will increase the effectiveness of the fire training ground by pouring a concrete slab
at the existing location, constructing a lean-to for storage, adding gravel, buying more props, and
generally upkeeping the area. The project contributes to initiatives of community risk reduction
and professional development.
Functional Fitness Equipment Fire $30,000
This project will provide fitness equipment that mimics and improves movements commonly
done during fire and rescue operations. This equipment will reduce injuries and prolong careers
of firefighters.
Property & Evidence Remodel/Locker Replace Police $55,000
This project will improve and modernize the overall look and performance of the property and
evidence processing area, along with replacing property and evidence lockers. Several of the
lockers are currently irreparably damaged.

Traffic Sign & Striping Improvements Engineering $50,000
To comply with regulations and standards set by the Federal Highway Administration, this project
is recommended to update roadway pavement markings. The markings will allow the City to
