Ward 4 Councilmember - Charles 'Corkey' Welch ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: After some conversations with community members and City Officials, including Councilman Charles Welch and Community Services Administrator, Richard Garland, it was suggested that Mr. William “Bill” Deutschs memory be honored for his many years of dedication and support for so many involved in youth baseball. To honor Mr. Deutsch, all parties request that the field at Cobb Park be named in memory of Mr. Deutsch. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Authorization to honor Mr. William “Bill” Deutsch by naming the field at Cobb Park in his honor based on a request from constituents and Councilman Charles Welch.
