(3616 Buford Highway, Duluth, GA) for the maintenance of the Campbell Middle School property, and authorize the Mayor to sign an execute all related documents. Citywide ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: Because the Campbell Middle School property is now the responsibility of the City of Smyrna to maintain, the Smyrna Parks and Recreation Department requests the purchase of additional equipment necessary to support this expansion. Purchasing this equipment will allow the City to perform all maintenance in-house, rather than contracting the work to an outside landscaping company. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Parks and Recreation recommend authorization for a budget amendment for the purchase of two Laser Z X-Series 72" riding mowers at a cost of $16,014.00 each for a total of $32,028.00 and one Vanguard Ride-On Blower at a cost of $11,880.00 totaling $55,788.00 for the maintenance of the Campbell Middle School property, and authorize the Mayor to sign an execute all related documents.
