Mayor Derek Norton called to order the July 20, 2026 Mayor and Council meeting held at A. 
Max Bacon City Hall in Council Chambers at 8:35 PM.

4.  Agenda Changes 
 
 A. 2026-275 Add item to Consent Agenda to extend the closure of King Street from Bank 
Street to Powder Springs Street through August 17, 2026 to allow pedestrian traffic 
during peak hours of use at the Village Green Space 
 
Councilmember Travis Lindley made a motion to approve item 2026-275; seconded by 
Councilmember Latonia P. Hines.
