Mike L. Jones, City Administrator, provided the following background: 
  
This is related to the agreement between the City of Smyrna and the Cobb County 
Board of Education for the Campbell Middle School property. It is now the 
responsibility of the City of Smyrna’s Parks & Recreation Department to maintain it. 
The purchase of this equipment will allow the City to perform all maintenance in-house 
rather than contracting the work to an outside landscaping company.   
 
Councilmember Travis Lindley made a motion to approve item ATH2026-095; 
seconded by Councilmember Rickey N. Oglesby Jr. 
 
The motion to approve carried with the following vote: 
 
Aye: 7 –  Councilmember Pickens, Councilmember Hines, Councilmember 
Lindley, Councilmember Welch, Councilmember Wilkinson, Mayor 
Pro Tem / Councilmember Gould, Councilmember Oglesby  
Nay: 0 –  None
