Arrests: 30 Traffic Stops: 206 Citations: 139 Warnings: 85 Service Calls: 680 WEEKLY POLICE TOTALS COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT The Smyrna Police Department launched a large-scale community engagement effort this week, beginning with meetings last Friday with the principals of Campbell Middle and Griffin Middle schools. The goal is to foster a safe, welcoming environment where students, local businesses, and residents can enjoy all that Smyrna Market Village has to offer. This week, Officers Lahr and Hurst successfully completed the International Police Mountain Bike Association Bike Course. Throughout the week, they cycled more than 40 miles, pushing through long days and sore legs. With teamwork and determination, they supported one another to the finish line. Congratulations to both officers on this accomplishment!
