D. ATH2025-004 Approval of the Special Event Permit for Atkins Park through Redbird 
Events to hold the annual Oysterfest in the Smyrna Market Village, which includes 
approval of the closure of W. Spring Street around the Smyrna Market Village fountain 
Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 2, 
2025 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and council approval for Atkins Park to serve beer, 
wine, and liquor beyond their business premises.

Councilmember Travis Lindley made a motion to approve; seconded by 
Councilmember Latonia P. Hines.

Redbird Events to hold the annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival in the Smyrna Market 
Village, which includes approval of the closure of W. Spring Street from Atlanta Road 
to King Street from Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 8:00 a.m. until Sunday, March 16, 
2025 at 10:00 p.m., and council approval for Atkins Park and Zucca to serve beer, 
wine, and liquor beyond their respective business premises.
