Mayor Derek Norton wished all a happy new year ans said that it was a 
great year with another great year to come. The Mayor and Council has 
their annual retreat this Thursday and Friday. There is a lot going on from 
a development perspective. More details to come.

7.  Community Development Items 
 
A. RES2025-005 Authorization for the approval of Resolution 2025-005 for the 
continuation of a moratorium for sixty (60) consecutive days beginning on January 10, 
2025 for the accepting or processing applications seeking the issuance of a sign 
permit for free standing signs and authorize the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem to sign and 
execute all related documents.
