 Councilmember Charles Welch encouraged all who want to get involved 
in the city to contact their city council member. He also mentioned the 
Keep Smyrna Beautiful clean up on January 18. 
  
 Councilmember Susan Wilkinson wished all a happy new year and 
thanked staff for all the work done during the holidays. 
  
 Mayor Pro Tem Tim Gould announced the Campbell High School 
JrROTC Raiders won their fourth straight state championship. The 
Campbell High School women’s basketball team is 11-1 and ranked 6th 
in the state. 
  
 Councilmember Rickey N. Oglesby, Jr. stated that the crosswalk murals 
are complete and touch-ups will be coming soon when the temperatures 
rise a little.
