Citywide ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: This is a request based on the contractual agreement between the City of Smyrna and Plainview Outdoor Advertising. The agreement requires the City of Smyrna to provide any necessary infrastructure for Plainview to be able to advertise at selected CobbLinc stops adequately and efficiently located within the city limits of Smyrna. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Public Works recommends approval of the proposed request for GA Power to be able to service and maintain their infrastructure. This also includes meeting the agreed upon contract obligations set forth between the City of Smyrna and Plainview Outdoor Advertising.
