GOVERNING BODY 
Function 
The 11100 Division funds the salaries and operating expenses for the Mayor, City Council, executive 
assistant and all other legal or professional services required for the legislative process of the City. All 
legislative powers and the determination of City policy are vested in the City Council. 
The Mayor and Council are responsible for enacting ordinances and resolutions, reviewing and adopting 
the annual budget, and through effective zoning providing for orderly growth and development of the 
City to ensure health, safety and welfare of its citizens.
