Public Access Defibrillator (PAD) Program Fire $70,000 
This project will install uniform types of defibrillators in city buildings and select parks. It will 
also allow defibrillators to be remotely monitored and managed. The goal of this project is to 
increase awareness and access to public access defibrillators, increase functionality across all 
devices, and encourage use of these devices.  
 
Structural Firefighting Gear Fire $70,000 
This project will fund the replacement of structural firefighting gear for each firefighter assigned 
to the Response division. This will improve the safety and response readiness of our Fire 
personnel.    
SWAT Tactical Vest Replacement Police $85,000 
This project will replace the SWAT team’s tactical body armor vests that have expired.

Painting of City-Owned Buildings Facilities $150,000 
This recurring project will allow the department to paint city-owned facilities. This includes power 
washing prior to painting, exterior repairs to stucco and wood, and painting.  
Misc Flooring Replacement Facilities $50,000 
This is an on-going project for miscellaneous flooring replacement throughout city buildings. 
Public Works staff will determine which locations get new flooring based on age and current 
condition.  
 
Cast Iron Pipe Lining Facilities $55,000 
Cast iron pipe is located in all city buildings across the City. To prevent backups and flooding, pipes 
need to be de-scaled for better water/sewage flow. The project will address any issues with cast 
iron pipes.  
 
City Water Heater Replacement Facilities $150,000 
This project will proactively replace water heaters at the end of their 7-10 year life cycle, which 
can prevent damage to city buildings from issues like flooding.  
 
Public Works Facilities Needs Assessment Facilities $100,000 
This project will allow for a needs assessment at the Public Works Complex. It is one of the oldest 
buildings in the City and needs a reconfigured layout. The assessment will determine how to best 
utilize the space.
