2. Call to Order
Chairperson Joel Powell called to order the March 9, 2026 Planning and Zoning Commission
meeting held at A. Max Bacon City Hall in Council Chambers at 6:00 PM.

A. Z26-100 Plat Approval - Allow subdivision of two lots into three lots for three single-family
homes within the R-15 zoning district - 1.88 acres - Land Lot 485 - 3278 & 3288 King Springs
Road - PM Builders
Ward 3 Councilmember - Travis Lindley
Joey Staubes, Planner II, presented staff recommendation for the plat approval to
subdivide two lots into 3 lots. The request is to be heard by Mayor and Council on March
16, 2026. The property was previously approved in 2020 to split the lots into 4 but the
applicant is reducing the original request.
Staff is recommending approval with the following conditions:
1. The property shall maintain the following setbacks as previously approved in V20-
073: Front - 40 feet, Side – 5 feet, Rear – 30 feet
