Ward 3 Councilmember - Travis Lindley ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: Smyrna is Fabulous was approved to hold the 2025 Annual Pride Festival in the Smyrna Market Village on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM during the January 6, 2025 City Council meeting. Event organizers are requesting to add approval of alcohol pouring to their initial application. Smyrna is Fabulous plans to partner with The Vineyard Wine Market and Smyrna Village Bourbon & Cigar Bar to operate a beer, wine, and liquor mobile bar during event hours of 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM. The request details, including the alcohol pouring method and serving location, are outlined in the attached letter. All other event details were included in the organizers’ initial application approval. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends authorization of The Vineyard Wine Market and Smyrna Village Bourbon & Cigar Bar to operate a beer, wine, and liquor mobile bar with sales at the 2025 Annual Pride Festival by Smyrna is Fabulous on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM and authorize vendor to seek required Special Event Permit through the Community Development office and the Alcohol Sales approval through the State of Georgia.
