Citywide ISSUE AND BACKGROUND: This ordinance prohibits anyone from entering a premises for an unlawful purpose, entering a premises after being told not to do so, or remaining on a premises after being told to leave. Representatives of the police department have requested that an ordinance dealing with Petty Trespass be adopted. RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED ACTION: Staff recommends authorization for approval of ORD2025-011 an ordinance amending section 66 of the Smyrna Code of ordinances to add section 66-6, Petty Trespass and authorize the Mayor to sign and execute all related documents.
