Ward and Staff Reports Mayor Pro Tem / Councilmember Tim Gould – Former Chief Magistrate Judge Joyette Holmes will be at the next Smyrna Business Association. Registration open this week for football season at campbellspartans.com. Councilmember Rickey N. Oglesby, Jr. – Happy Black History Month. Read about Black history which is American history. Thanks to all ward 7 residents who attended the recent Ward 7 town hall. He personally thanked the Smyrna Police Department and Smyrna EMT’s for being there for him. Councilmember Latonia P. Hines – Comes out to the Black History Month celebration. 13. Adjournment Mayor Derek Norton adjourned the February 2, 2026 Mayor and Council Meeting at 8:23 PM.
